Therefore, as soon as you have a free day, try to arrange for yourself an evening of relaxation and bliss. To do this, we have prepared a list of salon procedures that will help to spend time at home with benefits for health and beauty.

What spa treatments can be done at home

Home spa treatments are a simplified spa experience. He not only saves money, but allows you to take care of yourself in a relaxing home atmosphere. You do not have to rush anywhere, you yourself choose the procedures, music, aromas - it is a pleasure for couch potatoes and women employed at work.

You should start your spa evening with the preparatory phase:

Dim the light, turn on the lamps with warm yellow light, light candles, aroma lamps. Do not forget to prepare the bathroom.

Prepare a large body towel and a few small ones for face and hair, a hair band and a head roller (can be twisted from a towel), a comfortable bathrobe.

Turn on relaxing music. Lounge style, light jazz, nature sounds or yoga music are great.

Body Spa

Body treatments can be started with a warm bath. Draw water, add a few drops of essential oils, rose petals or sea salt. Now you can soak in the bath for 15-20 minutes and make a full body massage with a brush.

After the bath, pat your body with a towel and apply a scrub to barely damp skin. You can do it yourself:

Mix coffee grounds with sour cream or olive oil. You can add honey or sugar.

0.5 cups of sea salt + 1 tablespoon of honey.

Oatmeal flavored with a little water. You can add honey or sour cream.

2 tbsp. tablespoons of rice flour (grind long-grain rice in a blender) + 1 teaspoon of honey.

The scrub should be applied to the entire surface of the body with gentle massage movements, then rinse under the shower. Now it's time to move on to the wraps. Wrap mask makes the skin more elastic and detoxifies. It can be made from clay, chocolate, seaweed, honey, fruit, or based on natural yogurt.

Wrap Recipes:

Cut fruits and make gruel from them.

Pour cocoa powder with hot water, cool.

Brew oatmeal, mix it with natural yogurt.

Dried kelp dry seaweed in hot water, let it brew, add a few drops of essential oil and 1 egg yolk.

Apply the finished mixture to the body or only to problem areas, wrap yourself with cling film and wrap yourself in a soft towel or blanket. Rest for 20-30 minutes. Then wash off the mask with warm water and apply a nourishing cream or body oil to the body.

Facial Spa

Make a steam bath for the face with herbs (chamomile, mint, sage suitable for all skin types). This will open the pores and prepare the skin for further procedures.

Now you need to cleanse your face with a scrub:

Soda + honey is suitable for oily skin.

Shredded oatmeal + cream is suitable for dry skin.

Salt + sour cream - for normal skin.

After scrub, a mask should be applied to the face:

Clay pharmacy clay with water and apply for 10-15 minutes on the face.

Mash banana and strawberries with a fork. Apply on face for 10 minutes.

Nutritious mask: mix 1 yolk, lemon juice and 1 tbsp. a spoonful of olive oil.

Put the mask on your face, lie down on the sofa, and put cotton pads soaked in tea leaves or a compress from chamomile infusion on your eyes. Wash off the mask with warm water and apply face cream.

Spa treatments for arms and legs

Prepare a bath for hands and feet. It can be made from an infusion of herbs or add essential oils to the water. Then use a scrub (for example, mix sugar with grape seed oil) and apply a nourishing cream.

If the skin of your hands has become especially dry, make an oil bath: dip your hands in warm olive or almond oil for 10 minutes. Then blot with a paper towel, do not rinse.

To soften the roughened skin of the legs, after the bath, treat the feet with a pumice stone and make a mask: 1 tbsp. a spoonful of oatmeal mixed with 1 tbsp. a spoonful of honey, olive oil. Mix the ingredients, heat in the microwave, apply a mask to the feet, wrap them with cling film and put on cotton socks. Hold for 10-15 minutes, rinse with warm water and apply a nourishing cream.

Spa treatments for legs and arms can be completed with manicure and pedicure.

Spa treatments at home: benefits for body and soul

When you plan a spa day for yourself, remember that it is important not only to conduct cosmetic procedures for the face and body. A feature of spa vacations is that you relax and enjoy the way you spend time. To do this, try to fuss less and use any cosmetics available to you. If you do not want to waste time on home recipes, feel free to use professional cosmetics.

Make sure that you are surrounded by dim lights, pleasant music is heard, and your favorite aromas of essential oils are floating in the air. Turn off the TV and phone. For this evening, plan only relaxing and reading pleasant literature.

Preparation stage

Scrubbing

Take a shower before your procedures to keep your skin clean. Peeling can moisturize, tone or nourish the skin - it all depends on the selected components for the scrub.

Another home scrub recipe is based on sea salt - 0.5 cups can be mixed with honey, olive oil or the crushed peel of any citrus fruit.

Rub the resulting mixture into the skin for several minutes with gentle massage movements. After the procedure, rinse the scrub in the shower.

Wrap the whole body

It will be quite difficult to carry out a full body wrap at home, as this requires an assistant, but you can organize the procedure for some parts yourself. At home, it is best to do wraps for problem areas - these are the hips, waist and legs.

First you need to prepare a special mixture - it can be a mass of sea salt, similar to those that were used for peeling. You can make algal, chocolate or clay wraps, such sets are in specialized stores or pharmacies.

The prepared mixture must be applied in a thick layer, wrapped with a thin film of food and wrapped in a sheet, lie on the bed, cover with a blanket. Close your eyes and lie down calmly for 20-30 minutes. Take a shower later and rinse off the mixture.

We strengthen hair

Body wraps can be combined with hair masks. We offer several recipes:

- Add a few drops of essential oil to jojoba oil, burdock, peach or grape seed oil, rub the resulting mass into the scalp, then wrap it with a towel and leave for 1-1.5 hours. The tool helps to strengthen and grow hair, gives them a natural shine.

- In folk medicine, for the prevention of hair loss, a decoction of rosemary leaves has long been used. To prepare a decoction, 2 teaspoons of dry crushed rosemary leaves are boiled for five minutes in 300 ml of water. Then it is filtered and rubbed into the scalp. Relaxing bath

Many women like to take a bath, but it is most pleasant to lie in the bathroom for pleasure and as much as you want. Do not deny yourself this, but if you plan to stay in the bathroom for more than 15-20 minutes, do not make the water too hot, otherwise your head may spin.

You can also prepare an herbal bath; camomile, mint, linden flowers are usually used for this.

Vitamin for face

For the face, prepare a vitamin mask based on vitamin E. You can buy capsules of this vitamin in a pharmacy. Mask recipe: 3 capsules of vitamin E, a teaspoon of lemon juice, a little honey, 2 teaspoons of the simplest yogurt. Mix all the ingredients and apply on the skin of the face, neck and décolleté with massage movements. After 15 minutes, the mask can be removed from the skin with a napkin or cotton pad. By the way, after such a mask you can not wash your face and do not apply cream.

It is important that nothing distracts you from the process, therefore it is better to do all business matters in advance. If your possibilities are limited to an hour in the bath after the children fall asleep, then make sure that the bathroom is clean and pleasant. Let it be only an hour, but you need to take it to the maximum!

There is another important point: our brain constantly processes visual information, and the fewer objects that attract our attention, the easier it is to relax and disconnect. That is why in most spa spaces minimalistic design. At home, it is not always possible to get rid of a large number of things, but the less space is cluttered, the better you relax - this is a scientific fact.

Instead of music, you can download the sounds of nature, and enhance the feeling that you are, for example, on the seashore with the help of special aroma candles. And instead of a real book, which is a pity to spoil with moisture, you can put yourself an audio book or listen to your favorite podcast.

And another important point - the room should be warm, if your bathroom is rich in drafts, then take care in advance of a comfortable temperature.

Personal care

The classic SPA program will include an aromatic bath, scrub or peeling, a mask for the face and décolleté, and a closing treatment (applying a nourishing cream).
